Fast-casual Italian restaurant chain Piada Italian Street Food has 46 locations across 7 states (Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania & Texas). Ohio has 25, two each in Indiana and Kentucky, three each in Minnesota and North Carolina, five each in Pennsylvania, and nine each in Texas.

The eatery serves chopped salads and bowls in addition to custom-rolled wraps with thin-crusted dough that is stone-grilled and made from organic flour and extra virgin olive oil. The restaurant chain, which serves food prepared on an assembly line, has been compared to an Italian Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Owner of the business and co-founder of the Bravo Brio Restaurant Group is Chris Doody. In 2006, he sold his ownership to investors and introduced the Piada concept, based on the Italian "wrap-like sandwich" he had tried in northern Italy. It is filled with sauce, vegetables, cheese, meat, and pasta. Additionally, Piada offers soups, pasta bowls, chopped salads, and power bowls. Cannoli chips, a popular dessert item, are also available. A kids' menu with scaled-down versions of the regular menu items is available.

There are so many different types of street food that it can be hard to know which ones are unique and special. What makes an authentic street snack or meal taste good is how well-seasoned its components are, and whether or not they’re made in front of you.

Many people enjoy eating street snacks because there are no set rules for what ingredients go into them and how much of each ingredient needed to be just right! This allows everyone has their personal preference when it comes to flavor and texture.

A lot of tourists love street foods due to how affordable most of them are to consume. Since most places do not require you as a customer, you have the freedom to decide if this type of diet is healthy or not. Some may find some types too rich though, but overall, this experience gives you a sense of culture and cuisine specific to the area.

The term ‘street food’ applies to any item or items served outside or from a vehicle. Most commonly, vendors take orders at locations where space permits, then cook the food and eat it themselves. A few even buy prepared foods and customize them!

Egg and potato piadas

An egg and potato street food favorite is the piadan. They are typically made with thin, buttery bread that has been toasted and then spread with cheese and an over-easy or hard boiled egg.

Usually there is also green pepper, tomato, and/or onion added onto the bread as toppings. When eating them, use the back of your fork to cut into the sandwich and push it down slightly so you can enjoy every bit of the deliciousness!

These delicious street food snacks have just about everybody re-loving them! They are made of soft, fluffy rice that is mixed in with peanut butter and bananas. The rice soaks up some of the sauce and then it’s spread onto a bread roll or flatbread to make a sandwich.

The best part about this snack is that you can add whatever toppings you want to taste! You can put tomato ketchup, honey, cinnamon, chocolate chips — anything you like!

But there are lots of cultures that have great street foods that don’t necessarily fit into that category!

For example, ground beef and roasted potato patties known as _piadas_ are popular dishes in Italy. They're typically eaten with bread and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

Piadas can be found for sale anywhere from pizza stalls to taco trucks to restaurants. Some vendors even make their own variations! It is not uncommon to find delicious additions like mushrooms, tomato, and/or green pepper.

These snacks are perfect when you need something quick and casual. You can eat them while walking around or sitting at your convenience.

Cheese potato and pepperoni piadas are one of Italy’s most popular street foods. They're typically made in small, thin bread rolls that can be eaten with your hands or using utensils.

The roll usually has cheese as the filling along with either cooked potatoes or roasted peppers as toppings. The pizza-like dish is often topped with sliced pepperoni or salami and dried oregano.

Many people consider them to be cheesy since they contain cheese, but some just call them baked potatoes or roasted peppers. Either way, they're delicious!

Cheese is always a crowd-favorite flavor in any cuisine, and Italy does not disappoint when it comes to adding cheese to almost anything! There are many different types of pasta dishes with all sorts of toppings that include things like tomatoes, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and melted cheese.

One of my personal favorites is cheesy meat and potato piadas. These are very common street food snacks in India and abroad. They’re typically made with thin rice noodles, either ziti or fusilli shape, butter, tomato sauce, grilled chicken thighs/tenders (the meat can be cooked ahead and then stirred into the pasta), and Parmesan cheese.

The whole thing gets baked until everything melds together and tastes delicious!

Piadas can be made with either fresh or dried noodles, and usually include ingredients like tomato sauce, roasted garlic, Parmesan cheese, spinach, and mushrooms. They are typically baked or toasted until hot and crispy, and then spread onto a plate and served up warm.

Some people add olive oil to the table to taste, but we don’t recommend this since the restaurant probably uses butter as the source of fat!

Cheese bread or butter patties are one of Italy’s most beloved street foods. They’re usually made with soft, baked bread like an oatmeal raisin roll, cut into small triangles or rounds, and topped with cheese and tomato sauce.

Cheese bread is probably not very authentic to what people in the region originally had, but it was definitely inspired by the Romans’ favorite food — pasta!

The classic topping for these cheesy bread snacks is mozzarella, which some vendors mix in as they make them. Others layer provolone on top instead.

Some eaters prefer just the toppings on their pizza, so we mixed both together in a recipe that you can easily re-create at home!

To give the sandwich more flavor, you can mix in some sun-dried tomatoes, fresh herbs like basil or oregano, and olive oil. To eat it, cut into triangles and toast under a broiler or in a dry pan until golden and hot
